Structure Composition

Jack pressed filter is mainly composed of three major parts: frame part, filtering part, and pressing device. Man turns the hand wheel, which drives the screw shaft to push the compression plate by the gears. The compression plate pushes

 the filter plates to make filter material (slurry) in the filter chamber.

(1) Frame part: frame part is the foundation of the filter press to support the pressing device and other components. It is composed of a thrust plate, a compression plate, filter plates and a girder.

(2) Filtering part: It is made of filter plates and filter medium (filter cloth), which form several filter chambers.

(3) Pressing parts: It is the drive device of the filter press. Its main components are a small gear, a big gear, a screw shaft, etc.

Working Principle

(1)Man rotates the Jack, and the Jack pushes the screw shaft, pressing filter plates to form sealed chambers. It could prevent the slurry from spurting and leakage when sending the slurry with pressure.

(2)The slurry is sent to each sealed filter chamber by the feeding pump with pressure, going into filter plates and filter cloths. The clean water will be filtered out from the filter plate water outlet by the filter cloth, but the solid is kept in the chambers.
